Board of Trustees
The Law Library is maintained by a seven-member Board of Trustees. Four Nevada County Superior Court Judges (or their designated representatives) serve a year term as Trustees. The Nevada County Board of Supervisors appoints a representative as the Chair of the Board and two additional Trustees yearly. For a listing of current board members contact the law library.
The Board of Trustees of the Nevada County Law Library holds a regular quarterly meeting (Cal. Bus. & Prof. Code § 6304) in the Law Library Conference Room, located on the first floor of the Nevada County Courthouse at 201 Church Street, Suite 9, Nevada City, California. The meetings will generally be the 3rd Wednesday of the 2nd month in the quarter.
