NEW REMOTE APPEARANCE SYSTEM:

On Wednesday April 15th, the court will replace Zoom with a new scheduling and video platform for remote appearances. Participants will be able to schedule remote appearances, receive connection information and appear for court hearings via a platform developed by CourtCall. User guides and instructions will be released on Monday, April 13th.

Self Surrender Warrants

If you have an active warrant issued in Nevada County, you must appear in court to clear your warrant. 

Nevada City Warrants

Misdemeanor cases are heard every Thursday at 1:30 pm. Check in before 11:00 am. 
Felony cases are heard every Friday at 1:30 pm. Check in before 11:00 am. 

Check in at the Criminal Clerk's Office prior to 11:00 a.m. to be seen in court same day. If you arrive after 11:00 a.m., you will be required to come back on a different day. If you have both Felony and Misdemeanor warrants, please appear on Friday.

Truckee Warrants

Misdemeanors and Felony Cases are heard Mondays at 8:30 am. Check in before 8:30 am. 

Check in at the Truckee front counter between 8:00 a.m. and 8:30 a.m. If you arrive after 8:30 a.m., you will be required to come back on a different Monday.
