Notice of Public Scoping Meeting for New Nevada City Courthouse Project
The New Nevada City Courthouse Project is progressing with the preparation of an Environmental Impact Report which includes public comment and a Public Scoping Meeting.
The Judicial Council will host a Public Scoping Meeting to gather additional input on the content and focus of the environmental analysis to be conducted and presented in the EIR. The date, time, and location of the scoping meeting are listed below.

The Judicial Council of California (Judicial Council) is the lead agency and will prepare an Environmental Impact Report (EIR) compliant with the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) for the proposed New Nevada City Courthouse (the “Project”). The Judicial Council has prepared a Notice of Preparation (NOP) to provide an opportunity to comment on the scope and proposed content of the EIR. The NOP provides the Project location, a brief Project description, and a summary of the potential environmental impacts of the proposed and may be viewed from the Judicial Council project website at: Nevada County, New Nevada City Courthouse | Judicial Branch of California.
