NEW REMOTE APPEARANCE SYSTEM:

In April, the court will replace Zoom with a new scheduling and video platform for remote appearances. Participants will be able to schedule remote appearances, receive connection information and appear for court hearings via a platform developed by CourtCall. A release date, along with user guides, will be announced in the coming weeks.

Nevada City Courthouse Project Update

January 26, 2024

On January 24th, Pella McCormick, director of the Judicial Council's Facilities Services office, shared information with the community regarding the new Nevada City courthouse project process.  

The project is currently in the Site Acquisition stage, with the Design-Build phase (including construction) estimated to begin in December 2027. The estimated completion date is September 2031.
