Self Surrender Warrants

Nevada City

If you have an active warrant that was issued out of the Nevada City Courthouse, you must appear as indicated below to clear your warrant. A personal appearance in court is required before any warrant is removed from the warrant system. If you have both Felony and Misdemeanor warrants, follow the process for Felony cases below.

Misdemeanor cases are heard every Friday at 1:30 p.m.

You must check in at the Clerks' Office prior to 11:00 a.m. to be seen in court that day. If you arrive after 11:00 a.m., you will be required to come back on a different Friday.

Felony cases are heard every Thursday at 1pm.

You must check in at the Criminal Department front counter prior to 11:00 a.m. to be seen in court that day. If you arrive after 11:00 a.m. you will be required to come back on a different Thursday.

Truckee

If you have an active warrant that was issued out of the Truckee Courthouse, you must appear as indicated below to clear your warrant or have it removed from the warrant system.

Misdemeanors and Felony Cases: Mondays at 8:30 a.m.

Check in at the Truckee front counter between 8:00 a.m. and 8:30 a.m. If you arrive after 8:30 a.m., you will be required to come back on a different Monday.
