Truckee Courthouse Weather Late Open

Due to inclement weather and road conditions, the Truckee Courthouse will open at 10:30am Monday, January 5th, 2026. Services are available in the morning via phone, online and in person in Nevada City.

The Criminal division handles cases ranging from minor offenses (misdemeanors) to serious ones like robbery and murder (felonies) in the Nevada City and Truckee courthouses.

  • Pay Your Fine

    Use the Payment Portal to look up a case in our system (including traffic tickets or other citations) and make credit card payments when there is a balance due.

    If you have an active warrant that was issued out of the Nevada City or Truckee Courthouse, you must appear to clear your warrant.
